Altum Teacher Training Programme Calendar
Intake for ATTP’s 2026 Academic Year is now open for registration.
Intermediate 2: Foundation
Mar 20–23, 27–30, 2026 (50 hours)
Following Intermediate 2 Pre-Training, this module deepens your understanding of the Intermediate System through detailed exercise breakdowns, hand cues, safety principles, and effective imagery. As the final course before completing Full Certification Level 1, it strengthens your ability to teach the intermediate repertoire with clarity, accuracy, and appropriate modifications.
Advanced System: Foundation
May 1–6, 2026 (50-hours)
This final module in the pathway to Full Certification Level 2 introduces advanced and selected archival exercises, with a focus on adapting the work for clients with individual needs, weaknesses, or injuries. Taught by Programme Director Ole Eugenio.
Teacher Training 2026: Basic Seminar
May 15–17, May 30–31, June 1 2026 (50-hours)
Foundations of the Classical Pilates System
The Basic Seminar marks the beginning of the Altum Teacher Training Programme (ATTP) academic year and introduces the foundations of the Classical Pilates system.
Teacher Training 2026: Intermediate Seminar
Oct 20–22, 23-24, 27-29, 2026 (60 hours)
Expanding the Repertoire and Teaching Development
The Intermediate Seminar expands the student’s understanding of the Classical Pilates system through deeper study of the intermediate repertoire and its role within the method.
Teacher Training 2026: Nuts & Bolts by Karen Frischmann

This workshop focuses on the practical details of teaching within the Classical Pilates system. Led by Karen Frischmann, the session explores the mechanics, transitions, and teaching considerations that support clear and effective instruction. Designed for teachers and trainees, it offers practical insights to refine understanding of the work and strengthen day-to-day teaching practice.
Teacher Training 2026: Advanced Seminar
Feb 26–28, Mar 5–7, 2027 (50 hours)
Integration of the Full Classical System
The Advanced Seminar completes the ATTP training curriculum, introducing the advanced repertoire and deepening the student’s understanding of the Classical Pilates system as a whole.
Intermediate 2: Pre-Training
Feb 27–28, Mar 1–2, 2026 (20 hours)
You’ve finished “Foundation: Intermediate 1”, and you’re now ready to move your body and get it familiar and experienced with Intermediate 2 System’s exercises. This is your pre-training of these exercises, and a pre-requisite before moving on to "Foundation: Intermediate 2".
Intermediate 1: Foundation
Dec 5–8, Dec 12–15, 2025 (50 hours)
After completing Intermediate 1 System Pre-training, you'll advance to learning how to teach the exercises, understand their details, and their connection to human anatomy. This stage focuses on applying this knowledge to meet your client's needs.
Intermediate 1 System Pre-Training
Nov 7 – 10, 2025 (20 hours)
This pre-training workshop is a prerequisite for enrolling in the Intermediate stage of Teacher Training. It covers all Intermediate exercises you'll learn in Intermediate Foundation 1, ensuring you know how to execute them properly before delving deeper into their details.
Foundation: Basic
Sept 5 – 8 and Sept 12 – 15, 2025 (50 hours)
The next step after completing the Basic System Pre-Training, or for those with prior private practice, is the Foundation Basic learning stage. In this stage, you'll dissect and learn to teach each exercise of the Basic System with proper imagery, cues, movements, and safety standards, gaining a deep understanding of all 90+ exercises.
Basic System Pre-Training
An essential prerequisite for those planning to enrol in our Teacher Training programme, the Basic System Pre-Training is designed to deepen your understanding of the fundamental Pilates system, covering over 90 exercises across Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, High/Electric Chair, and Barrel.

Full Programme Fee — S$ 8400 (Early Bird S$ 8200), which includes:
Basic to Advanced Seminars (total of 160 hours)
History of Pilates workshop
Nuts & Bolts workshop by Karen Frischmann
Books & Manuals (Return to Life by Joseph Pilates, The Pilates Pamphlet, ATTP Manuals, and ATTP Self-Reflection Journal)

Enrolment ProcessAdmission & Assessment
Admission into the Altum Teacher Training Programme begins with a pre-screening process.
Applicants first attend a pre-screening call, followed by a formal admission assessment with the programme director.
During the assessment, applicants must demonstrate proficiency at the Basic level.
Assessment duration: approximately 55-mins
Assessment fee: SGD 210

Applicants should have a working familiarity with the foundational Classical Pilates repertoire and regular personal practice before entering the programme.
All applicants are required to complete a pre-admission assessment with the Programme Director. This assessment helps us understand your movement background and determine whether the programme is the right next step for you.

The Altum Teacher Training Programme is designed to be completed over approximately 12–18 months, depending on each student’s pace in completing their observation, practice, and mentorship hours.
Students progress through the programme in stages while gradually developing their teaching experience alongside the seminar training.

Possibly. Each case is assessed individually.
Teachers who are already fully certified in another Pilates method may be considered for bridging into the programme, subject to a pre-admission assessment.

Yes. Students who successfully complete all programme requirements (including seminar training, practice hours, mentorship, and final assessments) will graduate with certification from the Altum Teacher Training Programme (ATTP).
Graduates are prepared to teach the Classical Pilates system responsibly in studio environments.

No. Classical Pilates is taught as a progressive system, not as a collection of individual exercises.
The programme is structured to develop understanding step by step, from foundational work through to more advanced repertoire. For this reason, levels cannot be skipped within the ATTP curriculum.

No, we do not offer scholarships.
Instead, we focus on maintaining a training environment built on mutual commitment rather than contractual obligation. Our aim is to support teachers who choose to pursue the work seriously and develop their careers with autonomy.

Yes. Payment plans are available through Atome and SPay (processing fees apply).
In some cases, instalments may also be arranged directly with the Academy. However, all programme fees must be fully paid one month before the programme begins.

No. Certain required workshops are billed separately.

We want you to get the most out of your training journey. Attendance at all scheduled dates is essential for your progress and certification. By registering, you are committing to these specific dates. Please note that transfers, or refunds for missed days are not available. Should there be a life emergency, we’ll be happy to arrange a make-up session, which may be subject to an additional cost.

Your place in the programme will be confirmed once full payment is received. You’ll receive a welcome email with all essential details once your registration is processed.

We understand that plans can change.
Cancellations made at least 45 days before the course start date are eligible for a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 45 days before the course are non-refundable due to logistical commitments.
If you are unable to attend for medical reasons, please provide a valid medical certificate—we will review your situation with care.

We occasionally capture photos and videos during training sessions to celebrate our community and share our work. If you prefer not to appear in these, let us know before the course begins, and we will respect your preference!
